Citics is a well-funded real estate tech startup used by 350,000 buyers and sellers daily. As we extend our business, we are looking for a UI/UX Designer to strategize and launch a new and successful real estate portal.

JOB BRIEF

• As a UI/UX Designer at Citics, you will work closely with our creative and innovative design team, product management and engineering teams and report directly to the Director of Creative. Your primary mission will be to create seamless user experiences from high level concepts, interaction designs, and visual designs through prototyping.  
• You have an eye for simple, intuitive design and have a history of delivering customer friendly, pixel perfect and brand consistent experiences across platforms for consumers.  You are transaction and conversion focused with proven results designing for an e-commerce business.  
• Your expertise and ability to create engaging, innovative, easy-to-use solutions that address complex business and user needs from concept through production ready assets will be crucial as you work on some of the company’s most strategic projects designed to increase leads and conversion.  
• Your efforts will touch both responsive web applications as well as mobile for both iOS and Android. Ethnographic research, A/B testing and collaborating with a diverse, agile, interdisciplinary team will be part of your daily work life. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY

• The UX Designer will be responsible for design across various digital experiences. Work with multi-disciplinary teams including product, engineering, and business to find elegant but practical solutions to design challenges.
• Contribute to the near and long-term vision for features and products that are scalable.
• Create intuitive interfaces and interaction layers using best practices, the latest web trends and all available tools to augment the user experience.
• Research, understand, conduct A/B tests and communicate customer insights in order to inform design decisions.
• Evaluate and improve our digital experiences from a usability and business goals perspective.
• Create flows, sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and other design artifacts to define and communicate end-to-end user experiences.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of experience across user research, UX / UI design, interaction design, or visual design for digital products
• Experience in the real estate industry or with online conversion and engagement.
• Collaboratively shipping and iterating-on consumer-facing products and features for all screen types – Mobile, tablet and desktop. Knowledgeable in both responsive web design, iOS and Android design best practices.
• Experience with design tools such as Sketch, or Figma, and prototyping tools such as Zeplin.
• Defining Brand Guidelines and robust Design Systems that inform and lead others.
• Experience with usability testing, customer journey mapping, developing personas, wireframing and prototyping, sketching, and other UX design methods
• Ability to translate both qualitative and quantitative user research into actionable insights and communicate recommendations and design decisions to stakeholders
• Excellent project management skills with proven track records of meeting aggressive deadlines
• Comfortable/working experience handling several projects at once in a matrixed environment.
